Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico, was born to a music-loving family. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of traditional music as well as older Boleros. Also, she listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves Tangos, opera, and all forms of dramatic performance. Ana began learning and singing the piano with her mom, she began her more intensive singing training at the age of 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. The singer performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young scholar and professional. Following her move in the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her residence in the southern part of California. She's a frequent solo performer at private parties and events and performs classical Latin American Music. The passion and love she has in music, art and performing keep her engaged with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana is a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
