Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21 1982) is an acclaimed American actress. Most notably, she was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. After the divorce of her parents the actress left Worthington, Ohio to live at Los Angeles. Although she was struggling financially and in the beginning, she made her acting debut in the role of Rachel's Room's primary character. Following her win of an Young Artist Award in 2002 for her performance as Murder in Greenwich of a 15-year aged Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace was able to take home the award. In 2004 Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she was the main character for the initial two seasons. She was also awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace left the television series in 2005 to pursue a more significant role in films, having appeared in the film Taken alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. The actress starred on the screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in both 2007 as well as Taken (2008) opposite Liam Neeson. In 2008, she reprised the role Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). The actress also appeared in Alice in Malice in Wonderland which is the modern-day interpretation from the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played the role of Shannon in Lost in the series, which included the conclusion. She appeared in 2013's seventh season Californication. The role she plays is Faith as a girl who acts as a muse to the stars, and draws the eye to Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Being part of the Gyllenhaal family, she's the younger sister of the actor Jake Gyllenhaal. In her teens her career began as a small part-time actress for her father. She was also in Donnie Darko with her sister. Her next appearance was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received acclaim from critics for her performance in the erotic romantic comedy drama Secretary (2002) and the thriller Sherrybaby (2006) both of which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. Her fame grew for her role as Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008), thanks to several successful commercials she appeared in during 2006. After her successful performance as an unmarried mother in Crazy Heart (2009), she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. In the following years she was a part of comedies and dramatic films: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Other roles she has played included Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 an action thriller) as well as musicians in Frank (2014 Drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) as well as her role as the Kindergarten teacher. Gyllenhaal made her debut as a director and writer in 2021, with her psychological drama The Lost Daughter. For the film, she won with the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award.
